OUR STORY

Thai Love Restaurant is more than a place to eat. It is a celebration of Thai culture, hospitality, and community. Our menu features authentic Thai dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and family-inspired recipes, alongside the signature boba teas that started our journey

Three years ago, I started with a simple dream. Like many entrepreneurs, I began small—serving handcrafted Boba teas at local street food events, community gatherings, and festivals throughout the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. What started as a passion project quickly became something much bigger. I noticed that people weren't just buying a drink. They were looking for an experience. They wanted something unique, refreshing, and memorable. They wanted flavors that reminded them of travel, culture, and family traditions. That inspired me to create my own signature boba tea recipes. Using premium tea leaves, authentic Thai ingredients, and creative flavor combinations, I developed drinks that blended traditional Asian flavors with modern tastes. Every cup was carefully crafted to deliver not only great flavor but also a sense of connection and happiness. As our customer base grew, so did our vision. After three successful years serving customers throughout the DMV area, I decided it was time to create a permanent home where people could enjoy both authentic Thai food and our signature boba teas. That vision became Thai Love Restaurant. Thai Love Restaurant is more than a place to eat. It is a celebration of Thai culture, hospitality, and community. Our menu features authentic Thai dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and family-inspired recipes, alongside the signature boba teas that started our journey. Our mission is simple: To serve delicious food, create memorable experiences, and share the warmth of Thai hospitality with every guest who walks through our doors. Whether you're a student looking for a quick meal, a professional taking a lunch break, a traveler visiting Fredericksburg, or a family gathering with friends, we welcome you to become part of our story. At Thai Love Restaurant, every meal is made with care, every drink is crafted with passion, and every customer is treated like family. Welcome to Thai Love. Where every cup tells a story, and every meal is made with love. — Patrick Chan Founder, Thai Love Restaurant

WHAT GUESTS SAY

The smell of Pat's curry fills the whole dining room

I work at the hospital and started coming here for lunch. The self-serve line is fast, and the green curry is exactly what I needed to get through the afternoon.

Lisa M.

Registered nurse at Mary Washington Hospital

We booked Pat for a small faculty dinner. He handled everything — the setup, the serving, the cleanup. Everyone kept asking where we got the Thai food.

James H.

Professor at Mary Washington University

Staying at the Hyatt Place, I walked over on a Tuesday night. The dining room was quiet, the service was personal, and the pad thai was the best I've had outside of Thailand.

Sarah K.

Business traveler, regular guest from Hyatt Place

We needed catering for a conference, and Pat made it easy. The panang curry and spring rolls were a hit. Nobody wanted the break to end.
